Do I need experience with foster care?

No. Most of what we ask of volunteers doesn't require specialized knowledge. We'll provide context and guidance. What we need is reliability and kindness.

How much time do I need to give?

Most projects take 2–4 hours. There's no annual minimum commitment. You can volunteer once or every month.

Are there age requirements?

Volunteers should be 18 or older to participate independently. Teens 16–17 may participate with a parent or guardian on certain projects.

How are projects matched to me?

We'll share available projects based on your interests and location. You choose what to take on — nothing is assigned without your agreement.

What if I need to cancel a project?

Let us know as early as possible so we can find coverage. Life happens — we'll never guilt you for it.

Will I meet the families I'm helping?

It depends on the project. Some involve direct contact; others are more behind-the-scenes. We'll always be clear upfront.

Can I volunteer as a group?

Yes. Group volunteer days are something we actively plan for. Note it in your sign-up form.

When does volunteering start?

We're launching Summer 2026. Sign up now and you'll be among the first contacted.
